Why did you choose to start a sign business with Yard Love?
I was looking for other ways to make some extra money and ran across a Yardlove add a couple times on Facebook so I decided to read up on it. After going on the website and seeing all the fun stuff it had, I knew I could do this. I talked it over with my husband and he gave me the go ahead to pursue it. He’s been my hype man ever since!!!
What is a community event you’ve set up for and why was it special for you to be involved in it? Share the picture from the event.
I have a son that’s in the Elementary school down the street from our home and they let me display my signs there. This gives me a chance to broadcast and promote my work and gain new customers. So this sign was set up for National Principals day. Each student had to do something special because they were having a parade. I just did a sign for her from my son’s kindergarten class.
What is a sign you’ve set that has a special story or got a fun response from the customer? Add a picture of a sign.
I did a Happy Birthday sign for a customer whose son loves Sonic the Hedgehog. We went back and forth for days about the sign, making sure I had everything for the setup and making sure it could be set up as a surprise. After setup I sent her pictures and she sent me a video of her pulling up at home and him seeing the sign for the first time. He was so excited that she had to hurry up and park so he could get closer to the sign.
What do you love most about being a Yard Love affiliate?
I love getting material together for setups and getting reactions from customers. I love how I can work independently and make moves on my own. I also love how we have zoom call and fireside chats to be able to interact with each others. And let’s not forget that beautiful social media platform we have to refer back to about anything.
