Meet Nicole and Michael Erlandson with Yard Love Plano!

Nicole and Michael started their Yard Love business in May 2021.

How has Yard Love helped you get involved in the Plano and Allen communities?

I’ve always been involved in the kids’ activities and schools. I’ve been on PTA boards since my son started kindergarten (he’s now starting his first year at Texas A&M). My involvement in the schools has helped to set many school signs over the last few years. I’ve also helped with other community events. Carter’s party sign was a last minute request from the Make A Wish Foundation. We were able to provide a free sign and set up in a park in less than an hour. We loved being able to help!

What made you start your Yard Love business?

We started this business during the pandemic for something that I could do with my kids. It was to help pay for their activities like church camps, club volleyball, band, and Boy Scouts.

What keeps you going in this business? Tell us about the impact doing this business has had on you and your family.

We love helping people celebrate their big moments in life. Whether it’s a sign for a 1 year old or someone turning 90.

The Eagle Scout sign was also special because I had those graphics made in anticipation of my son and his friends making Eagle Scout.
