Why did you choose to start a sign business with Yard Love?
I started my Yard Love business because I’ve always loved surprises. With six kiddos, I’ve spent years finding fun ways to make their birthdays feel magical. The idea of helping create that same joy and surprise for other families instantly felt like the perfect fit.
What is a community event you’ve set up for, and why was it special for you to be involved?
I did a Trunk‑or‑Treat install for a local school, and it was such a blast. Halloween is my favorite holiday—right behind Christmas—so getting to use all of our fun Halloween signs to create a special welcome for the participants was lots of fun!
What is a sign you’ve set that has a special story or got a fun response from the customer?
Someone once reached out to me at midnight asking for an install the very next morning. Her sister had been in a serious car accident and had spent six months in the hospital. She was finally coming home. Even though I usually install signs at night, I woke up at 5 a.m. to make sure everything was ready for her arrival. It was one of those moments I knew the family would never forget, and it was an honor to help celebrate such a powerful homecoming. She is truly a walking miracle!
What do you love most about being a Yard Love affiliate?
What I love the most is when the kiddos come out to see the sign while I’m there or when I hear about how much they loved it! I try my best to make it as personalized as possible and it’s such a treat knowing that something I did made someone else smile!
