Have you gotten involved in your community by owning your business?
I have setup various sings for churches in the community as well as events at local schools. I am a member of the Harvesters Ministry at my church, Mt. Rose Church of Dallas. Once a month we give out free boxes of food to people in the community and surrounding areas. In March, we gave out 50 boxes of food! I donate a sign for the event to help get the word out to our community.
How has being with Yard Love helped you?
It’s allowed me the opportunity to build a successful business and to meet and make connections with people and businesses in my community that I may not have been able to connect with otherwise.
What has been your Favorite Greeting?
I’ve had several stories that caused me to smile, but one that stands out is a sign that I set for my best friend. She is a very busy lady and rarely takes the time to slow down for anything. I thought it was only fitting to remind her that it IS her birthday by surprising her with a yard sign that said just that… “Listen Linda – it’s your birthday”. She absolutely loved it and so did all of her neighbors.
