What is a sign you’ve set that has a special story or you received a fun response from the customer?
One of our regular customers booked a last minute sign because she had planned to switch it up and do something else for her daughter’s birthday. The mom said “She asked this morning if I thought the sign lady was going to remember her birthday! So anything you do will be great! You kinda have the same celebrity status as the tooth fairy! Thanks again for making her feel special!” This was one of the best compliments EVER!
What is a community event you’ve set up for and why was it special for you to be involved in it?
I couldn’t choose just one. From sponsoring one of our school’s major philanthropy events called DUCK week (Doing Unselfish Charities for Kids), to setting up Senior Night signs, to Fun Runs and Teacher Appreciation, being involved with our local schools in Piedmont and Yukon has been incredible over the past few years.
Why did you choose to start a sign business with Yard Love?
A friend of mine from high school owned Yard Love Owasso and she spoke so highly of her experience. Hearing how much fun she was having really inspired me. I loved that the startup costs were low and the opportunity to have custom signs created was a huge bonus. Plus, I knew the support from the corporate team would help me grow my business.
What do you love most about being a Yard Love affiliate?
Owning a Yard Love affiliate location has been such a rewarding experience. It’s allowed me to connect with my community, earn extra income, tap into my creativity, and, most importantly, help families bring joy and surprise to their loved ones.
