Meet Eva and Doug McCulloch with Yard Love 570!

They started their business in January 2024!

Why did you choose to start a sign business with Yard Love?

We were in Norman, Oklahoma visiting family and saw these amazing yard greetings in neighboring yards. We researched the company…Yard Love Greetings and thought this looks so fun and there is nothing like this in our area in Williamsport, Pennsylvania. Fast forward a year and a half later and we became a YL affiliate.

What is a community event you’ve set up for, and why was it special for you to be involved?

One of our favorites was a back to school open house at a local elementary school. The faculty, students and parents loved the sign and kids were having their pictures taken with the greeting. Our youngest daughter attended elementary at this school and is now a senior at the high school and on her way to Penn State University.

What is a sign you’ve set that has a special story or got a fun response from the customer?

We have a few but the one that stands out is when a local high school’s girls basketball team was heading to State championship in Hershey. The Superintendent contacted us to see if we could do a send off sign for the girls before they head out of town. Absolutely we could. We donated the sign and during the girls game we were setting up a sign for another customer. Doug was listening to the game while we were doing the other set up and just as we finished the sign the girls won the State championship game. We immediately headed over to the school to change the sign before they arrived home. We changed the sign from “Hershey Bound” to “State Champs”. We were so excited to do this for the team and the local community.

What do you love most about being a Yard Love affiliate?

The joy, smiles, photos and positivity these yard greetings bring is more than we could have ever imagined. The text messages and emails we receive after a customer’s event just makes our hearts so full. We hear so many times how our area needed something like this to bring joy and cheer to the area.
