Why did you choose to start a sign business with Yard Love?
I chose to start a sign business with Yard Love because I loved the idea of spreading joy and celebrating life’s special moments in a big, visible way. Yard Love provided me the opportunity to be creative, to connect with people, and have flexibility in my schedule. I enjoy helping people celebrate milestones in a unique, memorable fashion.
What is a community event you’ve set up for, and why was it special for you to be involved?
My very first community event I set up for was the City of Midway Centennial Celebration. It was special to me because it honored the deep history and legacy of the community while also bringing people together to celebrate resilience, culture, and connection across generations. I was grateful and honored to contribute to such a milestone moment.
What is a sign you’ve set that has a special story or got a fun response from the customer?
One of the most memorable signs I’ve set up was for a 92nd birthday celebration. As I was finishing the setup, the recipient came outside and saw the display. She was completely surprised and her face lit up with joy. It reminded me of why I love doing this work, because something so simple as a sign can create lasting memories and bring so much happiness.
What do you love most about being a Yard Love affiliate?
I love the opportunity to bring joy to people during their most special moments. Whether it’s a birthday, graduation, or baby shower, it feels rewarding to create something that makes people smile and feel celebrated. I just love to make people happy.
